WWE has criticised Dominik Mysterio for his recent antics on the red brand with The Judgement Day faction. Fans were furious with him for betraying his father, Rey Mysterio, and joining the faction. At WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio triumphed over Dominik in a singles match to take back the family name.
Due to his recent acts on the red brand, Dominik Mysterio of The Judgement Day group has once again come under fire—this time from WWE itself.
After betraying his WWE Hall of Fame father, Rey Mysterio, and joining The Judgement Day faction, the 26-year-old—who has become one of the most controversial individuals in the company—made headlines. Fans were extremely disgusted by this move, and Dominik's actions have damaged his reputation going forward.
In an attempt for vengeance, Rey Mysterio challenged his son to a singles bout at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. The veteran won, taking back some family pride.
Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh interrupted R-Truth's appearance on Miz TV in the most recent RAW programme, which resulted in an unplanned tag match.
The Miz put an end to the match by giving McDonagh the Skull Crushing Finale, which gave him the pinfall victory.
But what really got WWE's attention during the match was Dominik Mysterio's use of the 619. The move, which was a hallmark of his illustrious father Rey Mysterio, caused criticism. Using social media, WWE's official Instagram account expressed apparent dissatisfaction and described Dominik's behaviour as "Such disrespect from @dominik_35!"
