CM Punk and Drew McIntyre got into a verbal spat after McIntyre declared for the Royal Rumble and Punk said that nobody would stop him from winning the match.

The most recent episode of Monday Night RAW, which aired on January 8, was packed with thrilling battles. CM Punk kicked off the show, expressing his desire to conquer the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. The action continued with Tommaso Ciampa teaming up with Johnny Gargano against Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Other matchups included Ludwig Kaiser versus Kofi Kingston, the Miz taking on JD McDonagh and Damian Priest, and Otis, backed by the Alpha Academy, facing Ivar and Valhalla. The show also highlighted a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship defense by Kayden Carter and Kitana Chance against Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Notably, there was a intense street fight between RAW superstars Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura. Here are the detailed results from the event.

Ciampa & Gargano vs Balor & Priest:

The match began with Ciampa and Balor, with the former controlling the exchange. Balor tried a double stomp after they had traded blows, but Ciampa was able to avoid it. Priest assumed command at that point and beat Gargano against the announce desk. Balor attempted a suplex after ambushing Ciampa from behind. Balor was quickly trapped by Ciampa, who went on to win the fight by a three-count.

Kaiser vs Kingston:

Kaiser launched several strikes early in the contest to seize control of the situation. Kaiser deflected Kingston's attempt at a dive with an elbow. Kingston was then sent inside the barricade by him. The officials and referee had to step in to diffuse the tension even though the game ended in a tie.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship:

The reigning champions got off to a fantastic start, and Green took a beating. Carter thwarted Niven's attempt at a sneak strike. Green then threw Chance into the corner, and Niven applied a low crossbody. After some thrilling manoeuvres, Carter and Chance joined forces with the Kickstand to seal the win.

The Miz vs McDonagh & Priest:

Priest came there again to help McDonagh against the Miz after the first match ended in defeat. At the ringside, R-truth also made an appearance and attempted to divert McDonagh. It enabled the Miz to pull off the victory with his famous Skull Crushing Finale.

Ivar vs Otis:

Ivar kicked Otis in the midsection to begin the battle. Otis attempted a back elbow countermove but was instead hit with a powerbomb. After exchanging a few more blows, Ivar managed to knock out his opponent with a moonsault off the top rope and a spinning back-heel kick.

Street Fight– Rhodes vs Nakamura:

Without a question, this was the episode's most anticipated part. After spending the first part of the match outside the ring, both superstars were attacked by Nakamura using a broom and a kendo staff. Rhodes produced a kendo stick as well, but he was unable to continue. After that, he attempted to arrange the table but had to recover from a few nunchuck shots. Nakamura fought back and forth, but eventually gave up when Rhodes tried a Cody Cutter and then followed it up with Crossroads.
